Our desire to connect with others lasts a lifetime. We connect with friends, family, neighbors and those who share our interests. We gather for special events and everyday activities. These relationships bring meaning to our lives, help us stay actively engaged, feel valued, and maintain a sense of belonging.
Barnstable Neighbor 2 Neighbor (BN2N) brings together older residents, who are living safely and independently in their own homes and need some additional support, with volunteers who are looking for ways to assist their neighbors and actively contribute to our community.
This creates opportunities to build new relationships, support one another, strengthen our community, and enable older adults to live more safely and independently in their own homes.
We encourage residents age 60 or older to become members and volunteers of all ages to join us. We welcome members and volunteers of every race, color, gender identification, faith, sexual, orientation, and cultural group.
We are an all-volunteer organization and are actively seeking more volunteers.
